Alamy Live News. Matthew Chattle Photography. iPad 3 Queue Regent Street London. Daily Mail

Alamy Live News
I had a couple of nice shots of the dedicated iPad 3 queue a week before Apple launched the product. Ali and Zohaib were queuing to buy the iPad 3, camping outside the Apple store. Very dedicated and pleasant young men.
The Mail Online ran two of my pictures and Alamy Live News sold them for me

It was a busy saturday in London this weekend. The St George's Day Festival in Trafalgar Square was fun, with plastic swans and ducks in the fountains and an English summer garden theme.
It was also Record Store Day, and Billy Bragg was performing outside Sister Ray on Berwick Street.
And there was a demonstration against Virgin and Richard Branson's involvement in NHS healthcare. A lot to photograph and all on Alamy Live News this weekend

New Royal London Hospital opens 1st March 2012

The New Royal London Hospital opened today, so I went down to Whitechapel and took a few photographs. I was hoping for whistles and bells and good old Boris Johnson moving his floppy fringe around. Nothing doing unfortunately, a pleasant morning and lots of hospital staff going to work. The old hospital looks derelict already. The shots are on Alamy Live News now and on the normal Alamy stock by Saturday.

Alamy Live News. Matthew Chattle Alamy

It's been a busy weekend for me on Alamy Live News. Sun on Sunday launch led to pictures of adverts the day before the launch, I got the first issues on sale at midnight on Saturday. The Faberge Big Egg Hunt eggs are all over central London at the moment, got a nice shot of an inquisitive lady and a giant egg. Welfare Reform Bill protesters outside Angel Tube was a bit disappointing-about five Socialist Workers wasn't exactly a mass protest. Finished off with the Maslenitsa Russian Festival in Trafalgar Square today. Good days work, seven different news items in two days.

Alamy Live News. Matthew Chattle. Tottenham Shooting, Syrian protest Trafalgar Square and the Syrian Embassy.

It's been a busy weekend in London. I photographed the Syrian and Amnesty demonstration in Trafalgar Square and then the same protesters outside the Syrian Embassy where Syrian children were handing out flowers to the line of police officers, really nice moments and very good humoured considering the potential for anger. Also visited the crime scene of yet another shooting in Tottenham. I've never visited a war zone but sometimes London seems like one. Plus a small group of Greeks in Trafalgar Square protesting against the austerity back in Greece. All for sale on Alamy Live News now. Busy.

Links to my work recently seen on the web

Those nice people at the Guardian used one of my pictures for Charlie Brookers column about the annoying 'Keep Calm' pastiches everywhere. I'd been interested in these and I'd found some amusing varients, but enough' keep calm' please.
Those nice people at The Daily Telegraph hused one of mine for an article about plums for sale on the high street. That one was taken on Oxford street and very nice it looks too.

Daily Telegraph again with an article about Private Eye and the V&A exhibition, my picture but no byline.

Alamy stock and news

I am constantly updating the Alamy stock work and I regularly add to the Live News feed. last weekend I photographed the PIP breast implant protest on Harley Street. I'll post some pictures soon. And I will be updating this more often, promise
